Hi Chidinma! 👋 You've been studying 4 days straight — great discipline.
You're currently weak in Organic Chemistry Nomenclature (38% accuracy). Want me to quiz you on that right now, or should we build a study plan first?
Quiz me on nomenclature please.

Great. 10 questions, mixed difficulty, all WAEC-style. I'll explain anything you miss. Ready? 💪
Actually, before we start — what’s the difference between an alkane and an alkene again?
Z
Good question — and the simplest one to get a WAEC mark on. 🎯
- Alkanes have only single bonds between carbons. Think saturated. Example: methane CH₄, ethane C₂H₆.
- Alkenes have at least one double bond. Think unsaturated. Example: ethene C₂H₄.
Quick way to remember: "ane" = single, "ene" = double.
📚 This was tested in WAEC Chemistry 2021, 2022, and 2024.
